Questions before you book? Ask away. We answer every message ourselves — no chatbot, no call centre, no sales script.
We reply within 24 hours, usually much faster. Ha Giang is on UTC+7 — that’s 6 hours ahead of London in winter, 5 in summer, and 3–4 hours behind eastern Australia. If you write in the evening UK time, expect a reply the next morning.
What to tell us so we can actually help
A one-line “how much is the loop?” gets a vague answer. These five details get you a real one:
- Your dates — even approximate. Weather and road conditions change a lot month to month.
- How many of you — solo, couple, group of six? It changes the price and the vehicle.
- Riding experience — be honest. “I’ve ridden a scooter in Bali twice” is useful information, not an embarrassment.
- Licence situation — what country issued it, and do you hold an International Driving Permit? This decides what’s legally possible for you.
- What you want out of it — quiet nights and early starts, or a social group? We’d rather match you properly than sell you the wrong trip.
Already on the road?
If you’re already riding with us and something goes wrong — a breakdown, a fall, a change of plan — contact your guide directly first. They’re on the road with you and can act immediately. Use email only for things that can wait.
Being straight with you
We sell tours. We say so on every page of this site, because most Ha Giang “guides” you’ll find online are written by tour operators who don’t admit it. Ask us anything — including whether a competitor suits you better. If the honest answer is that you shouldn’t ride at all, we’ll tell you that too.
